ChocolateSwap is the sweetest decentralized trading platform built on the zkSync chain, with farms, pledged tokens, an NFT platform, Launchpad and much more, and we are inviting all dessert lovers around the world to join us!

## What is ChocolateSwap？

ChocolateSwap is a dedicated Decentralized Exchange (DEX) and a staking platform where users can provide liquidity to the DEX, trade different types of assets in a decentralized way and get rewarded for doing so. The platform is created without the flaws of existing approaches, enabling proper money markets to function, and creating a safe positive-yield approach to the liquidity provided by platform members.

ChocolateSwap aims to provide a comprehensive decentralized financial service – DEX (Swap), Staking and Liquidity pool using ChocolateSwap token (Chocolate), the native token of the ecosystem in a decentralized, safe, environmentally friendly way with low transaction fee.&#x20;

Apart from this, the platform is created with multiple unique features such as DEX Smart Trading, NFT Intergration and DAO Governance. With these features, ChocolateSwap is set to change the narrative of the industry and redefine the DeFi experience of users.

## Why zkSync

We chose to release the ChocolateSwap project on the zkSync chain for the following main reasons:

High performance: zkSync leverages Zero Proof of Knowledge (zkSNARKs) technology to achieve higher throughput and faster transaction confirmations. This is important for decentralised trading platforms (DEX), where users have high demands on transaction speed and experience.

Low fees: Thanks to zkSync's design optimisation, it achieves lower fees on Ethernet Layer-2. This reduces transaction costs for users and increases the attractiveness of the overall trading platform.

Security: The security of the zkSync chain is guaranteed by Ethernet Layer-1. The security is further enhanced by Zero Proof of Knowledge technology (zkSNARKs), making transactions and data processing on the zkSync chain even more secure and reliable.

Ecological compatibility: The zkSync chain has excellent compatibility with the Ethernet ecosystem, which means that projects built on the ZkSync chain can be easily integrated with existing Ethernet ecosystem projects. This helps to expand ChocolateSwap's potential user base and increase the project's exposure and reach.

Scalability: The scalability of the zkSync chain allows projects to adapt and scale accordingly to meet growing user needs and market changes in the future.

For these reasons, we believe that the zkSync chain is ideal for the ChocolateSwap project, providing excellent performance while maintaining security and convenience for users.
